Malin Holmberg

Malin Holmberg Biography

Malin Holmberg joined Experian in September 2021 in a newly created role as CEO of Experian EMEA and APAC. Prior to joining Experian, Malin was a partner at Target Global, a German venture capital firm.

Before this, she was CEO of Tele2 Netherlands and Executive Committee Member of Tele2 Group, having joined Tele2 as Group Product Director in 2009. Prior to Tele2, Malin was Head of Vodafone Internet Services responsible for mergers and acquisitions. Her early career included management consulting with Marakon and A T Kearney.

Malin has an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics.

He has over 10 years marketing experience within financial services having previously served as Enterprise Marketing Director for the world’s largest payments company, Worldpay.

Suveer Ramdhani Biography

Chief Executive Officer of BluNOVA, the data consolidation, insights and decisioning arm of Blue Label Telecommunications (BLT). BluNOVA helps various businesses within the group digitise - building automated transactional businesses through our data analytics and decisioning expertise - focused on driving growth through innovation and product development. The BluNOVA Group consists of BluAdvance – a microfinance product advance business and AltBureau - the publisher of Alternative Data to financial institutions.

Suveer is well known for his founding role in SEACOM, Africa’s first privately owned subsea fibre optic cable and the first on the East Coast of Africa - having disrupted Internet pricing across the continent.

He previously held various c-suite roles across various industries such as Internet, Telecommunications, and Engineering. He has a diverse range of experiences as an Executive, Director and Chair driving results from multi-cultural teams across Southern, and Eastern Africa primarily.

Suveer holds a B.Ss. Electronics & Communication Engineering as well as an MBA.

As Head of Risk and Compliance at MoneyPlace, Darren Tran has been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives, including the deployment of machine-learning-based decision engines. His ability to analyse data and implement risk mitigation strategies has significantly strengthened the company’s risk management framework.

Darren leads a highly skilled team that analyses data sets to identify potential risks and opportunities, ensuring MoneyPlace remains resilient in a dynamic financial landscape. His leadership is marked by respect, inclusivity, and a strong commitment to fostering growth across the organisation.

Heinz is not a financial services lifer. Originally an engineer, he has spent 20-odd years helping to improve and build on businesses of a wide variety.

In his current role as Country Manager at Unifi South Africa, he loves working at the intersection of values, people and structure, the customer and their need, process, information systems, and data; aligning the parts with the whole, and the whole with values - or at least working hard to do so.
