2020 Q3 BDI results outlining the impact of COVID-19 on the health of businesses

The Experian Business Debt Index (BDI) provides a view on the overall health status of businesses in South Africa, and it considers bureau-sourced Debtors payment profiles as well as a range of macro-economic variables. We will report on the 2020_Q3 BDI results, as well as provide a brief update on consumer COVID analytics. . Guest speaker, Nicholas Tuttelberg, will share his views on the impact COVID19 has had on business in general as well as on SME’s in particular.

In the latest Experian CDI Q2 report, we unpack movement of the Index across credit-active consumers with Home Loan, Vehicle Loan, Personal Loan, Credit Card and Retail Loan accounts.
