Herman Peeters Biography

Herman brings more than 20+ years of experience in the credit industry, with in-depth knowledge in consumer lending (loans, credit cards, Point-of-Sales credit) and in all stages of the credit cycle: originations, fraud, customer management and collections. He supports Experian clients as a trusted adviser by providing strategies and strategic guidance in achieving efficiencies and effectiveness across the consumer credit life cycle. Herman has experience in helping organizations envision and build business models that integrate strategy, people, processes, technology, customers, data, models and monitoring. Via his focused, creative and collaborative approach he quickly identifies initiatives that deliver measureable business value. He also has the ability to help clients implement new business and technology designs so they can rapidly and efficiently realize their planned return on investment. Prior to coming to Experian, Herman spent over 20 years at financial services companies in The Netherlands, responsible as Risk, Fraud and Collections Manager. Jakob Færgeman is a Global Consultant and Head of Analytics in Experian Nordics and holds more than 15 years experience of working with enterprise clients globally, managing challenges within credit risk and strategy, analytics, regulation and customer management.

Peter Sorenti Biography

Peter is Head of Product Management for Experian’s Decisioning software solutions for EMEA and Asia Pacific. He has over 20 years product management experience, and is responsible for ensuring that enhancements to the core PowerCurve applications deliver meaningful value to clients and for developing and launching new decisioning propositions based on this core software, Experian’s other assets and partner solutions, including its Credit Bureaux where available, Open Banking solutions and analytics capabilities.

Gottfried Steiner Biography

Gottfried brings 18 years consulting experience in the financial services and software industries supporting major Banks across Europe (mostly CEE; 8 years thereof with Experian). Gottfried has extensive experience in helping organisations envision and build business models that integrate process and technology strategies. His additional core skills help to turn projects into business value: Knowledge of credit & risk management software, customer analytics, quality assurance, project management, familiarity with regulations and legal conditions.

Marc Vanmoen Biography

Marc brings 23 years’ experience of delivering change across large scale of transformation programmes supporting external clients as well as internal Delivery & Service teams across EMEA. Marc has extensive experience in defining strategy and participative leadership across international teams. Within his current role Marc is responsible for resourcing, for people engagement and development, for monitoring of our control systems, for long-term delivery organisation tranformations.

Luciano Scalise Biography

Luciano Scalise is the Decision analytics Managing Director for APAC and EMEA at Experian. After his master’s degree in economics at the University of Buenos Aires he joined Banco of Columbia as Risk and Portfolio manager with responsibility across Credit products and Risk management. Luciano joined Experian in 2008 and in his career, he has developed a strong understanding of the Financial Sector in South America covering the role of Director of Consulting practice in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil as well as VP for Innovation and Knowledge in Spanish latam. In 2015 he was appointed Country Manager for Argentina, Chile, and Central America. In 2020 he moved to Europe to lead the Decision Analytics Business line for the EMEA region and more recently also for the APAC region. He is a member of the Regional Board where he leads the Products, Analytics and Data Strategy for Experian across Europe, Africa, India, and Asia.

Giulio Mariani Biography

Giulio is graduated in Physics and Astrophysics and studied Mathematical Finance. Before joining Experian, he worked in one of the major Italian banks. As Senior Data Scientist he is involved in Advanced Analytics projects with Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence solutions appllied to credit risk management.
